Quality Department Technical Worker (m/f/d) - Gera, Germany

For our quality department, we are looking for a Quality Department Technical Worker (m/f/d) for our branch in Gera as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities:

• Planning of processes and activities to ensure the quality of the product or services from design to delivery to the customer.
• Documentation and recording of processes, procedures, and quality standards for review and testing.
• Conducting internal audits to assess compliance with quality guidelines and processes and to identify areas for improvement.
• Investigating and managing non-conformities, identifying underlying causes, and taking corrective and preventative actions.
• Assessment of customer complaints and calculation of quality costs.
• Training staff in quality policies, procedures, and improvement techniques.
• Process development and design to ensure quality in all phases of production or service.
• Continuous improvement to optimize processes and quality.
• Supplier management, data analysis, development of quality indicators, and external audits.
• Conducting visual and physical inspections of products or services.
• Conducting specific tests and inspections on products to identify defects or quality issues.
• Conducting statistical sampling inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Documentation of results, monitoring, and reporting defects.

Your secondary responsibilities:

• Implementation and monitoring of the Lean Six Sigma approach for improved workplace organization as part of a continuous improvement process (CIP).
• Master data maintenance in the ERP system.
• Implementation of compliance with occupational, fire, energy, and environmental protection regulations.
• Support of production in technical and organizational problems.

Your profile:

• A completed technical degree or vocational training.
• Good technical understanding and initial experience with quality management tools.
• Knowledge in Lean Management, Six Sigma, Scrum, 5S, 8D, and Kanban desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Good English and/or German language skills, Spanish and Italian are welcome.
• High goal orientation, team player, as well as independent and structured working method.
